Arranging your art at home can seem like a daunting task, then you flick through images of your favourite magazines and it looks so accidental and casual. The truth is, it never is. A collection of art like with everything else takes time patience and experience. There are a couple of secrets to get you started.
Select art with a commonality, it could be colour, subject or style, this way when they are hung they will find a natural way to coexist.
Choose frames that have various sizes but all have the same shape, trying to work with all rectangles will always be easier than a rectangle a square and an oval.
Place the biggest boldest and boldest in the centre and work outwards
Lean into the asymmetry of it, perfection is not an option, the beauty is in the unique and unusual.
Lastly, ask a friend for a second pair of hands, and eyes.
